Holden Samuels grew up in Big Sky, Montana, and graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder. A competitor on the Freeride World Tour, his favorite thing to ride is steep, rocky chutes (which Big Sky has plenty of). He has been competing in freeride contests since he was 16, winning the IFSA North American Championships twice as a junior. Off the snow, he loves mountain biking, hiking, camping, traveling, and playing the guitar.
