After two years in the making, in September, the new all-women's ski film "Pretty Faces" will be premiering to theater audiences around the country. The brainchild of pro skier Lynsey Dyer, the film has been shot and produced over the course of the last two winters everywhere from Canada to Alaska to Wyoming. Flylow athletes Elyse Saugstad, Amie Engerbretson, and Sydney Dickinson have all filmed for the movie.
I wanted to give young girls something positive to look up to," says Dyer. "I wanted to give them their Blizzard of Aahhs, Ski Movie or High Life, but done in a way that also shows the elegance, grace, community and style that is unique to women in the mountains.
