Flylow’s heritage collection, the Deeper Line started from utilitarian beginnings—it was all about creating gear that would last season after season. Our mission? Find burly fabrics, add huge vents and reinforced and articulated knees and cuffs, and make it roomy enough to fit over ski boots. We started Flylow because nobody was making gear that could handle bootpacking, skiing 100 days a season, and the beating that inherently comes from long winters in a mountain town. So we decided to make the gear ourselves. The result is the Deeper Line, the root of our company and the most trusted gear you’ll find.
It was in the single digits on the Continental Divide, freezing cold, with harsh, angry winds. We needed something with more insulation but that could also handle a hike without overheating. So we designed the Albert Jacket and Baker Bibs, the uniform that’ll give you the ultimate protection from wind and snow. The Albert Jacket is insulated with Primaloft Eco, but it’s still light and stretchy. And the Baker Bibs—well, there’s just nothing warmer and more protective than bibs.
The Quantum Jacket and Chemical Pants are the bricks we built our company on, the fundamental, quintessential Flylow pieces. In fact, the Chemical Pants are essentially the modern day (much improved) version of our very first pant, which we named the Cactus Pant because it was as tough as a desert plant. This kit is overbuilt, made to go the distance. It won’t wear out; it’ll wear in. You’ll put it on every single day you step into your skis, no matter the conditions.
